About Gokulam India

        Gokulam Gorakshan Sanstha is working for the welfare of animals since 2013 at village Nandura, in Tehsil and District Amravati. It is 12 Kms away from Amravati on Amravati to Chandur Bazar Road. Gokulam Gorakshan Sanstha has an area of 45 acres. Gokulam Gorakshan Sanstha has been endeavoring for the below mentioned key objectives since 2013. Preface: Gokulam Gorakshan Sanstha has been working since 2013 with the only one above mentioned objective. The inauguration of this organisation was done at the hands of honourable Chief Minister Shri. Devendraji Fadanvis and in the chief presence of M.P. Shri Anandji Adsul, on date 10-April-2016.
             The following digntaries Shri Shivrajji Kulkarni, Shri Pravinji Pote, M.L.A. Sau. Yashomatiji Thakur, Home Minister Dr. Ranjitji Patil, M.L.A. Dr. Anilji Bonde, M.L.A. Shri Raviji Rana,  Ex. M.P. and Shiv Sena Leader Shri Anantji Gudhe visited the organisation and have provided their valuable guidance till today.
       There is livestock of 350 in the organisation on today. This includes livestock of Golav and Gir breeds. The livestock of the organisation includes the livestock received from the Police administration.
Milk produced in the  organisation is insignificant and that milk is used for the rearing of calves. 45 officers and working staff daily work in the organisation. Also, some veterinary doctors pay their visit time to time and treat sick livestock.
          The organisation every year purchases 1241 MT dry fodder and 440 MT concentrate feed mixer. The organisation itself produces 10950 MT green fodder and 450MT silage is made from additional fodder.
       The organisation receives 5MT ton of Rock  Salt and 5 MT Jaggery through donations. The organisation every year purchases Rs. 2,50,000 veterinary medicines and Rs. 3,00,000 mineral mixer.
          With the aim of becoming financially self reliant, the organisation has been producing ‘Panchgavya’ products through which the organisation gains Rs. 10,00,000 every year. By spending almost 3 Crore Rupees, the organisation has created veterinary hospital / animal polyclinic which is to be started very soon. This hospital includes modern machineries.
           There are 2 ambulances in the organisation those have got through the donations and the ambulances are used to bring sick as well as injured animals. Since 2013, almost 28,000 animals were treated and 4995 surgeries on livestock have been performed.
         Training on various topics is imparted for farmers, stockman and officials. Till today, training has been imparted to 5600 farmers, stockmen and officials.
No animal will die without treatment” this will be the principle of Gokulam while in work.

Objectives of the Organization

  • Preservation, conservation and up gradation of recognized breeds of cattle in the state viz. Gaolao and other breeds.
  • To give special emphasis on preservation, conservation and breeding of Gaolao breed.
  • Training to farmers and professionals regarding organic farming and Panchagavya production.
  • Supply of quality bulls to farmers and Govt .FS Labs
  • Supply of elite bulls to farmers for natural service.
  • To establish the Gokul Gram for 180 Gaolao (60%) cows and 120 (40%) other breeds
  • Clean milk production.
  • To encourage organic farming.
  • To organize regular workshop, Seminars for farmers and gardeners to encourage organic farming

  • Establish Modern Veterinary
  • Promoting environmental awareness, conservation of natural resources, encouraging utilization of alternative energy resources.

Publicity, Dissemination and Training

  • Inauguration of Gaushala by Former Chief Minister of Maharashtra Mr. Devendraji Fadnavis and Modern Govansh Chikitsalay.
  • Member of Animal Welfare Board, Government of India, Mr. Go Vigyan and Panchagavya Workshop in the presence of Sunilji Manasinga events.
  • Guidance session organized by Padmashree Subhashji Palekar on the subject of current Agricultural crisis and zero budget natural farming.
  • Under the Sansad Adarsh ​​Gram Yojana, the Union Minister Honorable Shri. Piyushji Goyal (Railway Minister) Cow based farming and Panchagavya training to 240 farmers of his adopted 8 villages.
  • God-held agriculture training to 750 farmers of 10 Tehsils of Amravati district under the Department of Agriculture, Government of Maharashtra.
  • Organized a workshop of Honorary Animal Welfare Officers in the presence of Dr. Kantilal Umap, Animal Husbandry Commissioner, Maharashtra. 350 officials of Amravati district present. (Organized for the first time in Maharashtra)
  • Appreciation of work and gift of Padma Bhushan Dr. Vijay Bhatkar to Gaushala.
  • Continuous arrival of Sukul and college students for learning in Gaushala.
  • Workshop organized by CAIM under Krishi Samridhi Yojana on 25/11/2016 on eternal peace and self-employment.
  • Government of India and State Government officials on 26/3/2017 for inspection of National Kamdhen Award presented to Goklam Gaurakshan.
  • Organized Amravati District Milk Producer Animal Husbandry Workshop on 2/4/2017 in Association with NABARD and Mother Dairy.
  • Program organized by Gokulam Gaurakshan Sanstha and Patanjali Yogpeeth Haridwar on 4/6/2017 for the hospitality of more than 150 Gaushalas and NGOs of Vidarbha.
